After a deep dive into the world of old late 70s Italian pop records, I decided to record an album that would pay homage to those vibes and arrangements and grooves.

My other influences from the fusion jazz American landscape, like Metheny, Dave Grusin, and many others, were inevitable.

I set out to simply have fun no matter what. No matter how naive certain choices might sound, I tried to stay true to a desire to have fun, to have a good laugh, to groove a while, to go overboard where a safer, more proper choice, might have been within range.

No click was used. It's all me overdubbing myself, freely, starting from a drum track or a piano track.
All instruments but but bowed strings are real instruments.

The Concept:
It's a journey of a common man with an obsession. He set out to go into the jungle, to find the object of his desire, encounters many unexpected obstacles, and finally finds more himself than his dream.
